Our goal is to share with You our passion for fashion and insipre You to experiment with style.
CADO comes from womanly penchant to collect little and pleasant pieces and also from the necessity of making them. Tired with mass production in a fashion industry we offer creativity and extraordinary solutions in composing the look. We desire our accessories to inspire You to experiment with own style, therefore we design the way that enables owner to decide how to use it.
Along with our accessories we want to share with You our passion and inspire You to play with fashion. Have fun with your style this is Our message to All.
CADO is a designers founded in 2003 in Krakow by two friends.
Knowledge from the field of design , fashion and ART we gained during studies in The ART Institute of Krakow Pedagogical University and SAPU (School of Artistic Fashion Designing) also in Krakow. Education finished with MA title was a beginning of a great adventure with professional design. At this point our ways separated for a couple of years. One of us became a designer of a leading clothing brand, another one started career as a TV producer.
Few years passed and our ways crossed again, resulting reactivation of CADO, this time officially.
We avoid pigeonholing and blind following trends which are quite often artificially generated by the fashion industry itself. As an alternative for the unified style of the clothing corporations we oppose auto identification. We promote holism in fashion encouraging to seek own style harmonious with way of life and state of mind.
We create our projects spontaneously, rhythm of work is determined by the need of creativity. Each piece of jewelry is unique and one of a kind, this is because we compose rather short individualized series than whole collections.
Out accessories are multifunctional, adequate for many occasions , looking good with casual wear as well as with evening dress. They can be used in a variety of ways and it only depends on creativity of future owners how they will be used.
We seek inspiration in a material itself. Shape, color or texture became first impulse to make another project. We take what reality offers us , looking around for what here and now…. Eagerly we use second hand goods, leftovers and scraps – cultivating creative recycling we approach philosophy of eco fashion which is close to our personal beliefs.
We refer to traditional “Handmade” methods of making goods and DIY (Do It Yourself) trend. Care for environment and wise management of resources should also be a contribution of fashion world.
Name [cado] – refers to French word cadeau – meaning gift or present – for whom?…. You decide…..
